Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

Kai Trump can count on plenty of well-known backers as she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and often competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically suggested to go out there and relax," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA rankings.

Yet she can get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He stands as the best player in the world," the young golfer said.

"And he's an even better person. He advised me to go out there, relax, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in women's golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to wider groups, particularly reaching youth audiences.

Kai has millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living label.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
